Hi and Welcome! I am Sharis (pronounced Sha-reese), and I am so excited to share my journey through life with you. I am originally from the Bronx, NY. and was raised in a very loud, proud, beautiful, loving, Cuban home.
Life wasn’t going as planned so I moved away and joined the Air Force when I was 19 years old. I have been married to my gorgeous hubby, David Sr, for 10 years (we just celebrated this milestone in November 2022). We share a very strong-willed son, Jr. and I also have an incredibly beautiful teenage daughter, Havana.
The Air Force has been my career, my job, my life for 17 1/2 years now (time flies). I am currently pursuing my Masters in Social Work and recently opened a small business. Busy doesn’t begin to describe life but I am here for all of it and enjoying the ride.
My goal is to share honest, fun, and hopefully useful stories to help others cope and most importantly, for them to know they are NOT alone.
