Hello Everyone! My name is Sharis, and I am brand new to this blogging life. Although I’ve wanted to start for about a year, I was terrified about jumping in. I kept telling myself
“no one cares what I have to share” and other negative thoughts along those line …
Yikes, right? Nonetheless here I am, finally! Doing something I have wanted to do and something I feel I NEED to be doing.
Blogging is something I’ve been wanting to start for a few reasons. Without a doubt, I believe it’s important for women to share honest, raw stories with one another because we tend to believe other women have their shit all the way together when the reality is, they don’t. Here I am as one of the many who don’t have it together … I am making it as best I can. A healthy outlet is needed and wanted! Somewhere to share my thoughts, feelings, point of view, without the crazy attacks social media brings. Most importantly, I want to HELP others. Sounds cliché and I know that, but I truly love helping people (hence why I am pursuing my master’s in social work).
I have an entire list of different topics I will be chatting about and am so excited to hear your thoughts. Here are just a few:
- Being an Active-Duty mom
